The production environment is used for actual transactions at a physical point of sale. Once your cashier software is fully developed and tested with the sandbox environment, the migration to the production one will take only a few configurations steps (mainly, changing the environment variables).
Environment variables
The following environment variables should be set by the cashier software:
- POS_API_URI
- AUTHORIZATION_SERVICE_URI
- AUTH_CLIENT_ID
- AUTH_AUDIENCE
- PRIVATE_USERNAME
- PRIVATE_PASSWORD
Values for production environment will be provided by Chimpy.
